Pros

Canva is a complete design tool for anyone who isn’t an experienced designer. Most people see it as an image design tool, but it is much more. You can design everything from printables to PDFs to invoices to flyers to infographics to websites.”

“My 45 year old, family-run company enjoys the advantages of a very good reputation. However it takes a LOT of creative work to stay there in our extremely competitive field.”

“Canva is very easy to use thanks to its very intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Also, you don’t have to worry about starting from scratch either, although you can do that if you want. There are a ton of templates you can choose from to work with multiple categories. These include infographics, posters, and even business cards.”

“Canva is affordable and easy to use, making it ideal for most of our marketing people who have little experience in graphic design. It has high resolution images which makes it very attractive to use.”

full review

“The software has limited photo editing functions and a lot of features like resizing images are locked in the premium version. It is also not flexible enough for an expert designer who wishes to create designs from scratch.”

Cons

“Canva has hundreds of thousands of templates and millions of photos. They look great and appear better than many of the ubiquitous free stuff. But they can look a bit generic. It’s again because of the rigid nature of Canva.”

“No video calling, audio calling, or screen sharing capabilities”

“The only defect of this app is for sure that it is not completely free. For those who do not use it professionally or are not yet able to invest money it ends up becoming bad.”

“Most graphic elements are available to paid users only”

“Canva is great to create aesthetically pleasing documents, but it can be pretty clunky.”

full review

“Only Canva Pro users have access to some basic graphic designing features like alpha transparency for PGN images. Free users can never get that.”

“The thing I don’t like about Canva is, I cannot modify any element in Canva. I must use whatever is provided in Canva. This is not the best photo editor available in the market. This app is available on the smartphone, but you will find it difficult to edit on the smartphone, which I don’t like.”

Final Say

“Canva is an excellent online graphic design tool. You can use it for everything from making basic photo edits to designing social media images to flyers and documents. It has so many features, and it comes at a bargain price of $12.95 per month. There’s also a very generous free plan, and customer support is wonderful. It offers a good design experience for entrepreneurs and marketers.”

full review

“Canva is a highly capable collaborative app for entrepreneurs and small businesses that enables anyone to design, manage, and share branded content, regardless of whether they have existing creative skills.”

full review

“Canva is user-friendly and affordable. It has made creating designs easy and fast. Designing marketing materials for both our offline and online audiences now costs less and doesn’t consume much time. The pros for this product outweigh the cons, I would therefore recommend this software to anyone who isn’t an expert on graphic design and still needs to create appealing and professional-looking materials without spending too much time or money. It is ideal for small businesses.”

full review

“I feel that this is something that would be valuable from a small business or personal standpoint, probably the former more than the latter.”

“Incredibly easy to use. Great for solo business owners as well as large teams. Probably not my first choice of programs to design intricate new design images. Great for building out quick content for social media that is consistent with branding. The publishing feature on social has some issues that I think could be fixed. Would be nice to easily post across platforms the same Canva image/post without having to save each one then post.”

full review

“I recommend Canva to anyone who wants a free or cheap design option. I recommend it to anyone who is a noob in the design world and to anyone who doesn’t have a big designing budget.”

full review

“Even though I have the Adobe Suite, I use Canva more because of its ease of use. There’s tons of templates to use, tons of vectors, images, video footage…the list goes on. I love that I can create my own templates and interchange elements easily. There are certainly things that Canva doesn’t offer, which is when I go to Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator. But really, you can do more with Canva than what most people think: you can remove backgrounds, add a drop shadow, add an outline to your isolated image, add in neon text effects, add in animations to your graphics…okay, this list could get lengthy. You get the point, there’s a reason why Canva is my go-to.”

full review

“My overall experience with canva is pretty much satisfactory. Not every design tool will give you the opportunity to work in the cloud with so many design options. Besides, it is quite easy to use and user-friendly. I would happily like to recommend it to others.”

full review

“Canva is the best alternative to Photoshop and other image and video editors. You can easily and quickly learn how to operate it, and create fully customizable designs. They also include high quality templates to work from.”

full review

“Canva is an affordable and user-friendly platform that helps you create sleek, visually pleasing designs for personal and business use. It’s no wonder they’re so popular. Everything is drag-and-drop; you don’t need prior experience or even an eye for design. Canva’s templates are modern, well-balanced, and thousands of them even with the free account. All you need to do is sign up and start designing.”
