Y2Mate is a free open source software that downloads free clips from YouTube and converts them to video (mp4, mpg, WMV) and audio (wav, FLAC, m4a, WMA, mp3, Ogg, acc) formats. The app allows you to download a single clip or an entire playlist.

This app does not track user behavior and communication is only between your computer and the YouTube server. 

This application is only allowed to download public clips and use of the app is the sole responsibility of the user. 

The app has a minimally clean user interface to provide a simple and flexible experience, but with powerful features.
